Dave Willis's 1950 Chevrolet
1950 Chevrolet owned by Dave Willis. In December of 2023, Dave told Sondre Kvipt of Kustomrama that he bought U.S. Royal Master tires for the car after seeing Bill Hoffman's 1953 Chevrolet. " That car is one of my all-time favorite cars, and I had seen it in several different shows in the early '60s. It was the first car I'd seen with U.S. Royal Master tires and chrome wire wheels. I immediately ordered a set of Royal Masters for my '50 Chevy but couldn't afford the wires. The tires were the most beautiful and most expensive tires on the market at the time; I think I paid 85 cdn dollars each for the rears in 1960. I also bought a set of 5 genuine 1954 Buick Skylark wheels, which I never used and still have."[1]
