The car was painted Purple with an off White top. Dan's brother Henry, painted the the top, and in 2015 he told Kustomrama that he mixed a little Purple with the White; "Dan got a lot of looks because it was so different with the Copper." Photo courtesy of Dan Contreras.

1957 Chevrolet owned by Dan Contreras of Norwalk, California. Dan's Chevrolet was mildly restyled, and it featured Copper plated spotlights, wheels and side pipes. The Copper plating was done by Wally at Custom Chrome on Jackson Street in Paramount in 1963. Other custom accessory included a chromed tube grille. The car was painted Purple with an off White top. Dan's brother Henry, painted the the top, and in 2015 he told Kustomrama that he mixed a little Purple with the White; "Dan got a lot of looks because it was so different with the Copper."[1]
