Dale Beck's 1951 Plymouth

1951 Plymouth Convertible owned by Lafayette Cam Shafters member Dale Beck of Lafayette, California. The front was fit with an Oldsmobile grille, the hood was molded into one piece and the headlights were frenched. The side chrome was removed and replaced with Ford Crestliner strips, which separated the two-tone red and black lacquer paint jon. The deck lid was filled in, and a set of 1953 Chevrolet taillights were frenched to the body. The gas filler door was removed. The car was lowered and fit with dual spotlights. A new black nylon top was made. The interior was done in red and white naugahyde with rolled door paneling and a fancy dash panel.[2]
