Jerry Malouf's 1954 Mercury Hardtop, of California was restyled by Competition Body Shop in 1956.

The Competition Body Shop was located in Hollywood, California. It was run and operated by George "The Crazy Arab" Ashie. The shop was originally located on Beverly Boulevard, but was later moved to Sunset Boulevard. In 1955 Von Dutch went to work for the Arab. In the late 1950s George died of cancer, and Dick Betts and Don Miller took over the shop and moved it to the valley. At that point the shop was on Ventura Blvd. in Encino. The shop closed in 1961.[1]
