After Garret had scalloped the Healey Buzzy entered the Army and was sent to Germany. He let Garret enter the car in the 1958 Rodarama Auto Show in Stockton. Austin-Healey owned by Buzzy Tschantz-Hahn of Stockton, California. Buzzy's Healey was powered by a Chevrolet V-8 engine. In 1958 Garret Walther gave the car a scallop paint job. "Buzzy then entered the Army and was sent to Germany," Garret told Sondre Kvipt of Kustomrama in 2020. "He let me enter his Healey in our local car show. It was a thrill for me to drive that thing for a few days as I was only 19 years old at the time."

In 2022 Buzzy's old Austin-Healey was owned by Shawn Campbell of Rodeo, California. "I've had the Healey for 15 plus years," he told Sondre Kvipt. "I've kept it in storage all these years. It's just the shell, no driveline or interior." Shawn bought the car off eBay, and the guy before him had started redoing the suspension and stuff.
