Bob's Big Boy
Bob’s Big Boy in Burbank, California, is an iconic gathering spot in hot rod and custom car history. Built in 1949, it became a favorite hangout for rodders and cruisers throughout the 1950s and 1960s. On weekend nights, the parking lot would fill with chopped coupes, flamed customs, and chrome-laden cruisers, making it a rolling car show and social hub. Many legendary builders and enthusiasts, including members of local car clubs, regularly cruised through Bob’s. The restaurant remains a symbol of SoCal car culture and continues to host cruise nights that keep the spirit of the golden era alive.
