Boardman Motor's 1947 Studebaker
1947 Studebaker restyled by Boardman Motors, Augusto, Georgia. A 1949 Mercury grille was fit to the Stude front, and the nose was trimmed with a Cadillac emblem. The doors were cut down in an unusual hammock-curve. The exhaust was routed through the rear fenders. The deck lid was pushbutton operated. The car took five months of spare-time work at the shop to complete, but at the time it was built, it was worth its weight in publicity.[1]
