02.18.2021 - Phil Cool's 1932 Ford Roadster. Cool's 32 made a splash when it made its debut at the 1978 Grand National Roadster Show. Built in an era of wild show cars and creativity, Cool wanted to look back to the roots of hot rodding when he set out to build his 32. A decision that helped him take home the 1978 America's Most Beautiful Roadster Award. It landed the cover of Hot Rod July 1978 and has since then been voted as one of the "Top 20 Trend Setting Rods of All Time," one of "The 75 Most Significant '32 Ford Hot Rods," and one of the "100 Most Influential Hot Rods of All Time." A heavy hitter of a hot rod, in other words. Quint and Shirley Meland bought the car in 1998. They have taken good care of the iconic hot rod, and Quint has now decided to let it go. This is a true survivor. It still looks as good as it did back in 1978. It has never been restored, and it still features the paint job that Cool laid in 1977. Located in California, Quint is asking $335,000 for the car. The price is negotiable. Click here for more info and photos.
