Ron Adley's 1936 Ford
1936 Ford Convertible Sedan owned by Ron Adley of El Monte, California. Eric Rickman shot the car while Ron owned it, and a story titled "Tenderest Tub in Town" was run in Hot Rod Magazine January 1964.
Sold to Finland
In 2020 the old hot rod was owned by Kerma Car Club member Jon Granström in Finland. Jon wanted to turn the car into a custom, so he had Kari Saarela weld shut the back doors, and build it into a two-door. Saarela also installed a Packard grille in the car before Jon had Lumo Automotive build a padded top for the car late in 2020. Lumo Automotive also made a front that featured a Delahaye grille, and Jon plans to drive both fronts, change appearance as it suits him.
