In 1952 Frank Galpin's 1952 Ford Convertible became the first custom to roll out of Galpin Motors. Modified with Mercury and Lincoln parts, the car made its debut at the Motorama before it went on to grace the cover of Motor Trend June 1953. Dave Shuten's New Mysterion is a recreation of Ed Roth's Mysterion. Dave's Mysterion made its debut at the 2005 Detroit Autorama. Dave sold the car to Beau Boeckmann of Galpin Auto Sports.
Beau Boeckmann 1934 Ford 5-Window Coupe. Named "Iron Orchid," the coupe was built and designed by Dave Shuten at Galpin Auto Sports. Dave's vision for the coupe was to build the ultimate 1960s show car. “I wanted this to be the best you could build in 1965, with nothing on the coupe newer than 1965,” Shuten told Jorge Nunez of Hot Rod Magazine. The build was completed in 2013.

Beau Boeckmann's Grasshopper Recreation was built by Dave Shuten at Galpin Auto Sports. The build was completed in 2015.
The Pink Panthermobile was restored by Dave at Galpin Auto Sports. The restoration was completed in 2016.
Daniel Nelson's 1952 Henry J was built by Dave Shuten at Galpin Auto Sports. Known as "Henry Jaded," the build was completed in 2017.
Ed Roth's 1956 Ford F-100 truck of Maywood, California. Ed, who was a member of the Maywood Drag Wagons, bought the truck in 1957. He wanted to use it as a promotion vehicle for his custom paint and pinstripe business, so he gave it a red flame paint job the same year. In 2016 Beau Boeckmann at Galpin Auto Sports bought the truck. Led by Dave, Galpin Motors' team of vehicle restoration experts refurbished the truck with NOS and other period-correct parts. The restoration was completed in January of 2017.
The Hard Hat Hauler was built by Barris Kustoms in 1971. Dave Shuten led the restoration of the old show rod for Jeff Dunham at Galpin Auto Sports. The restoration was completed in 2017.

In 2020 Discovery launched a show about Galpin Auto Sports called Car Kings. Car Kings follows Dave Shuten and his colleagues at Galpin Auto Sports as they are rescuing and restoring famous and historical cars. The premier for the show was Monday, March 30, 2020. Galpin Auto Sports bought Bob Hirohata's 1951 Mercury at the 2022 Kissimmee auction, paying $1,950,000 USD for the iconic custom.
On January 23, 2024, the hot rod and custom car community was electrified with the announcement by renowned custom car builder and restorer Dave Shuten that the legendary "The Uncertain-T" had been found and that it now was part of the Galpin Auto Sports Collection. Lost for decades, this iconic show car resurfaced, much to the delight of enthusiasts and historians alike. Shuten's Instagram post revealed the excitement surrounding this discovery, sharing that the Uncertain-T would make its much-anticipated appearance at the 2024 Grand National Roadster Show and the Detroit Autorama. In 2020 Discovery launched a show about Galpin Auto Sports called Car Kings. The premier for the show was Monday, March 30, 2020. The first episode, Shelby's Secret Project, takes us through Carrol Shelby's secret DeTomaso Pantera project.
