After selling the 1951 Henry J, Ed Roth bought himself a 1948 Ford. Ed painted the car bright red and decorated it with pinstripes. Advertising his own business, Ed also added a papier mache head to the car.

In 1957, Ed sold his 1948 Ford in order to get himself a 1956 Ford F-100.
